Jimmy created this beautiful painting for William just before Easter 2013. He signed the painting with William's nick-name - "Toozles". William's painting is displayed in our living room, directly across from our fireplace.
William's Path depicts the path we took with William many times to Chatelherault Country Park near our home. More than anything, the painting captures William's love of nature and his ever-present spirit! We can still see William, stopping to watch the swans along the path. Wonderful memories.

William’s Path
We’ll plant a tree for William, so all the world can see,
Just how William loved the world and wanted it to be.
His trees will line the shady paths, along the tranquil streams
We’ll walk this path with William, each day and in our dreams.
Though leaves will fall from all the trees that William’s love caressed
Each spring the leaves will all come back and soon be fully dressed.
On William’s trees the birds will rest - with love and patience, build their nests
They’ll sing to others to and fro, how William’s love has helped them grow.
So when you walk down William’s Path - wherever it may be
Take a look - he’s all around - in every living tree.

Our friend Elaine Beeson wrote, when she saw William's Path -
"Dear Jennifer and Jimmy -
The painting of William's Path is so beautifully done - did William wander down this path until he saw a bright light at the end..... one wonders. The pictures of William are precious - they all say so much and reflect the love you have for him.
....Love to you both - Elaine"

Not only is William helping to restore the Caledonian Forest - he is also helping to reforest America! Over 2500 trees through the Arbor Day Foundation, American Forests, Redwood Forest Foundation and privately have been planted in William's memory - in Illinois, Florida, Virginia, California and the American West - with more being added all the time.
Come take a walk down William's Path and wish him well on his journey ♥
