William's Path - The trail through Cadzow Glen, along the rushing stream
Created by Jennifer and Jimmy Fry 9 years agoLast night, Jimmy and I took a walk through the woods in an area not far from our home called Cadzow Glen. A place William loved. It's a long trail that winds through the hills along a rushing stream. I've been avoiding this little place, almost fearful of going back without William. We regularly go to Chatelherault on William's Path. But this part of William's Path was etched in my mind as a place where William was still alive and I didn't want to disturb that little world. What I mean is, I think I felt as long as I didn't go down that trail, the trail wouldn't know that William died. I wanted to think of William being there - alive and happy.
As we walked further through the woods, we came upon three daisies that someone tied with a stem and placed on another railing. When we went into the Glen, we saw a young couple about 17 years old. They were smiling and nudging one another. Angels work through other people ♥ Earth Angels. There was no one else in the Glen. As a matter of fact, in all the many times we were there with William, we were always the only ones there. I think that made it even more special to me.
William is definitely there and he is alive and happy.
