The Smile Train, Trees for Life and American Forests have been of great comfort to us. Within two weeks of William's death, we created a memorial page for him on the Smile Train website. We set a goal for $5500.00 - a Smile for every year of William's life. William has exceeded his goal and his journey continues - without end. On William's birthday in 2013, we planted a Memorial Grove for him through Trees for Life and it is growing all the time! We are also proud sponsors of American Forests. Every year on William's Birthday, we plant 100 trees for him through American Forests. So far, William has 900 trees planted in his memory in the American West along with 100 trees through the Arbor Day Foundation which have been planted in Blackwater River State Forest, Florida. William also has Redwood trees growing in his honor on the California Lost Coast. We will forever support the Smile Train, Trees for Life, American Forests, the Redwood Forest Foundation and the Arbor Day Foundation. They have given us hope for the future.
