All best wishes, Linda - September 1, 2014

I remember reading on William’s memorial page last year about how kind he had been to other children when he was younger and in particular the story about the winter hats. I relayed this to my son, who is now 8, and we talked about how considerate it was to do that for others and how special William must have been. My son said he would like to do something like that to help other people and we talked about what we could do. He decided to collect for our newly opened local Food Bank - he asked all our friends and relatives to donate a few items each which we collected from them. We had quite a supply in the end and it was gratefully received. We probably have a large number of local families who really struggle to give their children proper meals, so I was delighted we helped in some small way. It was really inspired from our chat about William. I thought I would share that with you, just to let you see another way William lives on and helps others.
